Tel Aviv is very straight forward! Only been there late at night and then departed early in the morning. It has a typical sea wind condition, meaning the winds turn around during day and night on account on the land sea temp. During night, usually land on 12(ILS), departure on 26.

Only things that come to mind is make sure at 180miles to call for identification by military and depending on which direction you are coming from or leaving you might fly through the Ercan area of dispute.

Below are excerpt from our manual related to operations to from LLBG, mind you, check your own company info!!

ISRAEL - TEL AVIV FIR
— Enhanced security procedures
• From before reaching the identification point (see below) until after landing: Switch on the ’Fasten
Seatbelts’ sign and do not open the cockpit door except for safety reasons.
• Overflying flights from Amman: The above procedure applies from TKOF until exiting the FIR.
— MIL identification by Tel Aviv CTL
• E-bound: Before 180 NM from Ben Gurion 'BGN', call Tel Aviv Identification 124.300 (sec. 132.050).
• From Amman: Before 10 NM east of TALMI or SALAM, call Tel Aviv CTL 121.400 or 132.050.
• Northbound via R650: At least 10 min before Sharm-El-Sheikh 'SHM', call South Identification 122.850
or 132.000. Maintain at or above FL120, unless cleared otherwise.
— Eastbound into TLV, early descent
Arrange with Nicosia RAD to cross (abeam) VELOX, LEDRA or ERIMO at FL310 or below at IAS 265 kt,
and, except 0001 - 0300 UTC, SOLIN at FL90 or below.
— Entry
• Eastbound entry only allowed via DAVAR, MERVA, SOLIN or GITLA.
• Without previously assigned transponder code, squawk 6400 (lower airspace: 4200).
— Non-standard altimeter setting over land
• Regional QNH is used, except in Tel Aviv TMA or (other ADs) in the CTR: Aerodrome QNH.
• Arriving: Change to QNH when crossing FL115 or the coastline, whichever comes earlier.
• Departures: Change to FLs when crossing 10 500 ft or the coastline, whichever comes later.

CYPRUS - NICOSIA UIR/FIR
— Southbound from Ankara FIR
Contact Nicosia CTL at least 10 min before TOMBI, DOREN or VESAR. Option of last resort: 121.5.
(Without contact, Nicosia will treat t he flight as having COM failure, consequently discontinuing RVSM.)
There is no intercentre contact between the Ankara and Nicosia ACCs. See also Area in Dispute below.
— MIL activity over the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea
• Maintain airways and minimum FL250.
• Monitor 121.5 and continuously operate WX radar and SSR transponder.
— Potential traffic conflicts: ATC reports frequent violations of ATC rules by foreign MIL traffic.
— Class G airspace
• Below FL195 outside airway, TMA & CTR.
• Position reporting: ICAO Standard.
— Unreliable navaids
Nicosia CAA reports unreliable FMS updates probably caused by ’MUT’, Ercan ’ECN’ and Gecitkale ’GKE’.
— Area in Dispute
• To/from Ankara FIR via the area in dispute (ERCAN ADVISORY AREA on RFC): Additionally, contact
Ercan FIC and maintain listening watch for advisory service and relay to/from Ankara CTL.
• Northbound into Ankara FIR: Contact Ankara CTL at least 10 min before TOMBI or VESAR.
If unable (reportedly, Ankara does not reply to calls from inside Nicosia FIR): Relay via Ercan FIC.
According to Turkish AIS, when unable to contact Ankara CTL, FIR entry will be denied.
• Flights not proceeding to/from Ankara FIR: Do not call Ercan FIC and do not answer their calls.

Have fun!! Great place to have a layover!!
