I'd have thought Shanghai over Beijing alright due to Shanghai and Dublin both being technology hubs.
Apple, Google, Facebook etc were pestering EI for years to relaunch SFO to link their Global HQs in northern California with Their European and Asian HQs in Ireland. In the end they each guranteed they'd buy a certain number of seats on the flight each year and EI took the bait, over 90% LF all year now apparently. Anyways the reason I mention this is that many of these companies are making noises about a Bangalore flight to link their call centers there with the HQs, although the VFR market compared to SFO would be insignificant in comparison I would think.
