I did the online bits and CV etc. It was the personal statement I gave up on as I like to put a lot of work into them and as my grammar is not great (pointed out by another helpful chap on here) I have to out source checking that with the missis. She's busy a lot lately so that slowed it down... Then planning for the interview should it come is something I like to be well on with by application time in case it comes quick........ Hence I saved the time and effort... Yes maybe I have given up on VS... I don't really want to give up my command these days. They are the only people I would consider it for but the move to LHR or LGW does not appeal. They used to have a dedicated MAN crew and that was what I wanted back in the day. As far as I am aware thats no longer an option.
