Australian, CASA CPL license conversion to the UK/EASA CPL or PPL

I hold a CASA/ICAO CPL and I am looking at moving to the UK soon. My CASA (Australian)“command ME aeroplane” instrument rating expired some years ago and I am just wondering if this needs to be current to convert my CPL to the UK/EASA? My CASA CPL is VFR current (BFR), but just want to know if not having a current Instrument Rating is going to complicate the conversion process. Thanks for any assistance here.
