And what about the A320 rated hold poolers in BA who meet the long haul hour and weight requirements who have been overlooked for long haul slots (especially onto the A380 which would only require a 12 day conversion course) in favour of type rated candidates from Emirates etc? And if this is not going on then why are they conducting roadshows in Dubai?
I suspect the many 777-rated out there are also a (possibly bigger) factor in this. Proving that even in BA the Type Rating is now King.
