EK has a duty of care towards its employees and that duty of care extends to those who reside in accommodation that has been provided by the company. I suspect that increasing the level of security around company villas is something that the company will want to avoid if at all possible. It doesn't project the image of the safe utopia that the company is so keen to promote Dubai as being. The company will do its utmost to hide and dismiss such events which is beyond contempt.
