Would be about 1980. Turned up at Amsterdam to catch the afternoon BA 1-11 flight to Manchester. Opposite their check-in desk was Suckling Airways.
They accepted the BA ticket so flew on their Dornier to MAN. Can't remember what the food was - 3 course meal - but thoroughly enjoyed the G&T before the meal, bottle of wine with the main course and a brandy to finish afterwards. Nothing wrong withnthe food as far as I recall. My wife wasn't to impressed when I handed the car keys back to her when she met me at MAN.
