Xiamen. To explain what factoring is, if not explained before. When one is the augmenting (relief crew, heavy crew, etc) on a ULR, time in the rest facility does not count as flight time. On every ULR flight, one will find themselves either the operating crew or the augmenting crew on one of the sectors.

Therefore, every ULR you do, you will lose approx 6-7 hours of credit towards your monthly/yearly maximums. So imagine you do just one ULR every month for a year and you will lose 72-84 hours of flight time credit to your maximums. But you will get the little flight time pay for it all. That's a month of flying that the company is getting out of you.

Another fact, you are eligible for 42 days of leave a year, and that's what they will try to sell you on. I haven't seen my 42 days of leave in three years. The requirement, by local law, is all employees must receive 30 days of leave per annum. They can force you to use up your remaining twelve days of leave by giving you three groups of FOUR days. How will that work out for you?

Just a couple of facts that Harry should not be able to dispute.
