I regret that local chambers can "call for expansion" all they wish, but with the chancellor of the exchequer having a constituency a stones throw from Manchester, and the rest of the government more interested in "The City" than the rest of the country, BHX has two hopes of getting game changing expansion - Bob Hope, and no hope!
So sorry to be pessimistic, I think it's more realism than pessimism - even though I can't disagree with the chambers' premise.
