BHX is probably one of the most accommodating airports in the UK - usually 24/7 350 days of the year and takes what diversions it can logistically cope with even when coaches are an issue.
The other 15 days are annual closures for runway and general maintenance (November and first week of December) where the contractors get the runway from 23.10.
I would say 00.00 is over generous as last night was final scheduled night closure of the year and I believe penalties might apply for late handover.
Now if you want to talk about CAT 3 ILS on runway 33 that might be more contentious but I don't want to go there.
