While I must agree there are some good tailwheel pilots in NZ, as thats where most of the surviving OZ machines went and are well looked after.
BUT,, an endorsement is just that, to make you safe to explore the envelope further, as you cannot ever be endorsed to cover for every situation you may encounter, and there are many.
I am one of the lucky few that has not 'bent' one in a few thousand hours in C185's,, the operative word is "lucky",, not just skill alone !
