For many years Air Pacific leased a QF B747 200 and even a QF B747 100 in FJ colours. QF crew often flew it on QF runs.......
And when the Rainbow Warrior aka The Flying Fruit Tingle operated a Qantas service to Tokyo, did the manure hit the fan? If the expression can be excused, the Japanese went ballistic. The carry-on was quite extraordinary, especially as we see Japanese aircraft in all the 'Mickey-Mouse' liveries imaginable.
