Flybe to open Doncaster Sheffield base but will close Bournemouth for S16
A very interesting read and goes to show the state of flux Flybe are currently in. In fact when you consider that Flybe were operating 9 routes more this time last year compared to this, i'm amazed the drop in seats is only 2.1%!!!
what will be interesting is to see a similar exercise for summer next year. According to their summer schedule, the number of flybe flights per week in summer will increase between 15-20%, although with the use of the smaller E175 and Q400 to replace the A195s used this year, means the increase in the number of seat wont be as large, but I still expect it will be circa 10-15%.
I don't know how that increase compares to the MAN summer schedule but im confidence next year will be a better year for flybe at BHX than 2015 was!
