Indeed Peter, together with Debbie Riley went on to set up Airport Solutions Ltd and Gareth Cook, another former Manchester senior manager, later joined them.
As has been said, Peter was very innovative in his time at Manchester, although I was slightly unsure of his introduction of remote stands in the 24R holding bay - the correct designation at that time. I don't think that any of those stands were ever used.
