Vmcg is demonstrated in Zero Wind conditions.
If setting V1 to Vmcg it is worth considering the crosswind. If operating close to the crosswind limits, you are now operating at 2 limiting conditions and probably on a contaminated runway.
One has to decide if you really want to do this.
