im sure we will, remember until March 2016, our figures will still feel the impact of the Flybe and Monarch cuts that took place earlier this year. Once they are out of the way, growth should continue to increase...
Some interesting and impressive figures out regarding Long-Haul
Air India
(Delhi/Amritsar) = 11,096 (+83%) – Impressive
American Airlines
(New York JFK) = 6,257 (n/a) – Disappointing/Slow LF
Emirates
(Dubai) = 57,530 (+27%) – Not bad as capacity went up just under 30%
Pakistan International
(Islamabad) = 5,906 (+7%) – Even this has grown, it’s been a while!
Thompson
(Cancun) = 4,941 (+120%)
(Sanford) = 2,830 (+24%)
Turkish Airlines
(Istanbul) = 13,337 (+27%)
Turkmenistan
(Ashkabad) = 3,669 (-29%) slowly recovering, LHR = 927pax (-53%)
United Airlines
(New York Newark) = 8,341 (-1%) – As if AA never happened!!!!
To my mind, some impressive figures…. I just find it frustrating that we carry 27% more pax direct from BHX to that famous family tourist spot of Ashkabad than we do to Florida!!!!
