I recall a severe storm passing through Bundy in the late 80's/early 90's. Several lighties damaged, including a Twotter that snapped a tie-down and appeared to be mounting an Islander.
There was a Sunnies Shorts & QPA Mohawk on the main apron. One was spun through 180º, one had its rudder blown back on the fin (also through 180º), and when the Nomad was being pre-flighted, it was noted that the flaps on one wing were retracted, whilst on the other wing they were bent so to appear partially extended.
Whilst the reporting might be dubious, I could well imagine the ATR with its narrow wheel track being blown side-on to a wing tip.
