Mate, your point of view about family and lifestyle makes perfectly sense to me. Wife, kids and lifestyle always come first.
Remember a very important point: regardless of what somebody for sure will tell you, easyjet is an equal opportunity employer. Moreover it is an European community rule. It means that you can apply as far as you have got the right to work in Europe, an EASA licence OR you're able to convert your actual licence into EASA.
Doesn't matter if you are European, Asiatic, African, American or Australian as far as you're good enough to pass the selection process.
