The fact is, Part 61/141/142 as passed bear no relation to the output of the sub-committee that did all the original work.
Part 42 is just as bad, the final "rules" are nothing like the output of the "taskforce" from industry, and now, internally, the push is on in CASA to apply Part 42 to all maintenance, it will be a financially and practically crippling outcome, just like Part 61/141/142.
