Flybe are building a base at LCY. "Hey that Stobart route works from Southend- why don't we try it from LCY. If it doesn't work- well if they are still there they can have it- if they've gone they could always come back".
I have to hand it to the Flybe team for "innovation". They chop and change and try- but it's been a good business model for Ryanair so why not.
