But looking back at Kulverstuka's photo of the internal HS assembly & seeing how close the front edge sits to the back of the recorders where the connections go in, if that front edge took out those connections it would be a #very# short interval. There might be a brief period of continued recording life while any capacitors in discharged, but then factor in buffering...
