Our latest crash comic features an R22 roll-over after an immediate white out situation. The article finishes by pondering whether a cabin heater if it had not been removed, may have helped. The couple of times it's happened to me during our wet season over here, I have quickly opened the door for a visual reference. The hundreds of times it's happened to me in motor vehicles I've always found that an internal defrost heater was next to useless, at least for some time and that cooling the air to match the outside air with an air conditioner vent by far the quickest way, or the window down of course.

Perhaps some thoughts as to the mechanics of conditions liable to the condition vs a proof against it may be a suggestion as I guess it would oft be encountered in cooler climes.
