E-jets at SOU
I've never really understood why Flybe didn't make Southampton a key jet base. For anyone living in Surrey, Hampshire or Sussex the reality is that travelling out of Sou is probably a nicer and certainly faster experience than using LHR or LGW. Couple that with the high class ambience of the E-jet and I would have thought they would be a great success on key business trunk routes as well as the existing sun route portfolio.
The e-jet gives a passenger experience equal or better than anything available from other jet operators in the key South East catchment area with its quiet, modern cabins and 2x2 seating.
Good to hear they have found a home for them though. A truly lovely aeroplane!
