Pardon my ignorance, but what is the wisdom behind looking for employment for the - otherwise unwanted - largest aircraft in the fleet by starting new bases at airports like CWL and DSA from scratch? Most of the routes appear to be the typical run of the mill Flybe destinations and not tailored to the capabilities of the aircraft type in question. Are these airports "supporting" the operations? If not, armchair-CEO-wisdom would suggest that starting those bases with smaller aircraft and using the E195 at the largest existing bases to boost capacity there is more sensible. What am I missing here?
