Do not let the recruitment team fool you with regards to the upgrade time on any fleet, especially the 777. I am a 4 year FO at EK and I am being told AT LEAST another 12-18 months before an upgrade comes my way and that was BEFORE they announced the latest round of DEC's. If you join now on any fleet, let alone the 777 you should plan for at least 6-8 years before an upgrade.
