Snow is expected as well as fog at all UK Airports
But knowing as a passenger that you have a better chance of your flight
Operating in these conditions From Stansted than from Southend
Is very important to know.
If the Airline is knowingly operating from such an Airport then I would want to be advised it might sound DAFT but the Airline should not be able to just cancel a flight they should have a contingency plan.
The point I'm trying to make is an Airline would not be able to operate with a lack of onboard equipment but is fine to schedule a flight in winter knowing the Airport can't support the flight in them conditions.
