Saudia. Was I imagining it or did I read here that Saudia were going daily in the Spring with a B789? Also in the dim and distant past I recall them 'seriously considering' Riyadh. Any truth in this?
The alternatives to RUH are not much good - long layover with Emirates for example.
The best option on my previous two trips has been LH via Frankfurt. The freight alone on such a flight might make it attractive.
