We can only speculate as to what impact the new flights from BHX will have on their 2 x daily MAN operation even if it's only at the margins. Checking random dates up to Christmas, one of the 2 MAN flights is shown as a B777. Looking at various dates from January - September next year, both flights are down as the A332. This seems to be the the normal (default) a/c type but as we know it has varied periodically, using the B777 and /or A333.
There were reports that both flights would become B777, but was that ever reflected in the 2016 timetable? The other suggestion was that the route would see a B787 at least on one of the flights.
It would be disappointing if we were to be left with the A332, while EDI & BHX see the 787, but then I suppose we should be grateful for a 2 x daily service.
