Agreed it's a great, welcoming place including the trusting fuel man who gives you an invoice and asks you to pay online when you get home:
One word of warning though, fuel is nothing to do with ATC so mentioning it ahead on yer PPR form doesn't always bring results:
I was directed by tower when I paid my fee last month to taxy over to fuel bowser's base: the tanker was a minute red blob in the far distance on the other side or the airfield.
When I explained the faff of starting a hot fuel injected engine, they relented and called the bowser over: This all took about an hour as he has to follow the peri track and cross the active runway twice, giving way to circuit training traffic.
This prevented me from a full stroll along the beach to an apparently very nice cafe in the village.
But the Shack bacon and egg bap was pretty good....
I'll deffo be going again.
