Thankfully my contract period with TT had expired and I have just signed up with Plusnet. No more exasperated discussions with Indian call centre staff called 'Colin' or 'Robert'.
As for former customers, I think we can be confident that all of their personal details are still held by TalkTalk (and now, whoever has accessed them).
