That's not good but not surprising but a profit is a profit. The airports school report reads must try harder.
On closer reading it seems £600k of business development costs at SEN have been omitted from the Aviation Division P&L and recharged to the group as a whole (because they are not "underlying costs" whatever that means). To you and me that means Aviation suffered a loss of more than £200k for the period.
Amend that school report to read, "After 4 years here Stobart has failed to impress..."
