Clearly you have no idea how railways work. The busiest line in the country is the Cork-Dublin line. It has feeder services in from Kerry@Mallow and from Limerick@Limerick Junction and works really well to sustain the hourly services on the Cork-Dublin line which are almost always full when the Limerick pax hop on at Limerick Junction.
Whether you want to believe that or not is not my concern. I can only tell you of my experience on traveling on that route for many many years.
