Wow! I must have been out of the country when that happened, don't remember seeing or hearing anything on local media. Runway closed in the middle of the night, really? I thought Aldergrove were a 24 hour outfit with full ATC and Fire Service available. Lucky he didn't wipe out an ILS, that would have been seriously embarrassing, wonder who did the risk assessment for that episode.. Beautiful car though, glad the driver wasn't badly hurt.
