Cucuotto, as with any airline what is written in the Part D and Part A is approved by the regulating authority, if THY want to say all Captain candidates must be blonde, they can do so.. the issue is that the DGCA approve the manuals and they interpret the submitted documents as they see fit. There is nothing to be gained from inventing rumours on this forum and the situation regarding upgrading must be very frustrating to say the least to the potential candidates. Lets be clear, there have been some upgrades of foreign FOs on the narrow fleet, I have never seen in 7 years on the triple. The FOs I spoke to netted 7300 Euro last month and are not complaining about the salary (albeit reduced with Lira/ Euro exchange) they are simply wondering why is it worth staying when Pegasus offer fast track upgrades without all the nonsense.The " atmosphere" on narrow body is chalk and cheese to WB. The issue is now personal security with instability in the region and many close to retirement are thinking along these lines.
