Flybe

My alter ego posted these September Flybe figures in another forum. They are courtesy of the CAA and the load figures are based on the assumption that every timetabled flight operated that month. All flights were on one of the two based 118-seat E195s except where shown.

Glasgow 2971 passengers, load factor 57.2%

Edinburgh 9106, 68.9%

Cork 1079, 50.8%

Munich 2502, 50.5%

Milan Malpensa 1875, 61.1%

Paris Cdg 4962, 70.1%

Faro 2562, 90.5%

Jersey 1040, 51.0%*

Dusseldorf 1267, 34.3%**

* 2 JER rotations per week, one a Q400 the other an E195 with an additional E195 on the first two Saturdays of the month in question
** 4 DUS rotations per week with the Sat one a Q400; remainder E195

Belfast City 3630, 77.6%***

*** BHD is a longstanding daily route on the Q400

Could not establish the Dublin route load figures as it's shared with Aer Lingus Regional (Stobart).

Looking at CWL generally, with this month's rugby world cup flights expected to generate an additional 30,000 passengers according to the airport and the extra Flybe flights from the expanded base, it's very likely that October will see an increase of around 40,000 passengers (perhaps more) over October 2014.

That would take the rolling 12-month total close to or past the 1.1 million mark with the end of year total being higher still.

With next year's additional Vueling seats, the effect of the Flybe base for a full year and Thomson cruise flights to the UAE, 1.2 mppa might be reached for the calendar year of 2016, a figure not seen since 2011. That's not taking into account further announcements that may be in the pipeline.
