Its been mentioned before wrt QF second officer costs. QF may roster SO’s on services where the opposition flies a similar city pair using FO’s, however in most cases, a QF second officer would be a greater cost burden to QF than an FO at other airlines. A QF SO would be a greater cost burden than a captain at other airlines in many markets served by QF.
