Sugbai is hardly a mile wide.
A village hugs a coastline, with apparently no other inland development.
Hard to imagine that a fusalege would plummet into the jungle and not be heard.
Also it is amazing from a western perdpective that a WWII plane could remain undiscovered for so long so close to a village.
