Why are people assuming Delta would ever allow its investment in VS (foothold in the lucrative London business travel market) to go bad? It was an outstanding investment for a relatively cheap price. Delta is one of the world's most profitable and cash-rich airlines and would likely continue to fund VS if required. Delta would never have such a foothold again if they allowed the VS investment to sour. Sounds like Delta and VS are collaborating on schedules and better yield management. So, it is probably a bit premature to predict VS's demise.
