Looking at the posts regarding the extra based aircraft, Summer 2016 growth for the airport looks positive.
I had already posted on the Jet 2 thread that they currently have timetabled 25 extra departures per week (when compared to August 2015) with Ryanair, Easy Jet and Thomas Cook / Condor amongst others also showing growth.
Add to this the additional services that Vueling will operate next Summer (Alicante and Rome released for now, with extra Barcelona services) and with Iberia Express and Austrian not commencing until September this year, these should all add to the Peak Season increase.
Another factor to bear in mind is that we should not see the "Monarch effect" in Summer 2016 (a lot of growth in Summer 2015 was curtailed by the reduction in Monarch flights and passenger numbers) so all growth should read positive numbers.
I realise that there is still time for changes (both positive and negative) hopefully there will be more of the positive and Summer 2016 will be a memorable one for the Airport.
