Virgin is contemplating some recruitment for 2016. I don't know anymore than that, I wasn't paying attention in the meeting since it doesn't affect me.
The only career advice I'd give is to stay out of commercial flying, but if you're in it then there's a lot worse places to be than Virgin. BA also has a lot to offer. Which is better for you is not simple, it does help if you know exactly what you want. One thing seems pretty certain to me, regardless of press rumours - we are a long haul only airline. Can't see that changing even in the unlikely event of us becomming Virgin Atlanta/ Delta East. Better be sure that's right for you. It's not everyone's cup of tea.
