Just to clarify, I wasn't implying they can't read a map, or coordinates. I was just thinking out loud, since AC-130 is considered direct fire, and they visually acquire targets, there's different procedures to assess the risk/proportionality of civilian casualties, and those might be somewhat interesting in this case.
