I was told that '' you need to finish the Night Rating'' within 6 months
The purpose of having an ATO is that they train in accordance with an approved "Training Manual" where all this information should be located. I cannot see any 6 month limitation either, so the question is Who told you? and where did they get the information from? Your ATO should be able to answer the question from their Manual.
