My point being that there is growth to be had, I'm just not sure the management are really going about it the right way. The loss of stobart was a massive hit for the airport.
But do you not think the 3.8m was from a different time - it's widely known Ryanair had agressive pax targets to hit and basically flew every route they could to try and achieve them - a fair lot of them were dire and never sustainable - I feel Shannon are possibly now at a sustainable network with naturally 2-3 more gaps in UK to fill and prob 2 more seasonal European spots ie Holland and possibly more Germany - bit more scope on the TA as well which should see them surpass the 2m mark - managements own master posh set a target for up to 2.5m pax so prob fairly realistic
