And in the field of education, you may be aware of the significant number of students in cities such as Liverpool and Manchester, a good few of whom return to their homeland at the end of each term by way of CX's non-stop scheduled flights from Manchester.
In my home city (Nottingham) most of the students appear to be from China! In fact the University of Nottingham has a campus in China! By that yardstick, perhaps EMA should get the China link - not that your average Chinese student is going to avail themselves of business class!
With the amount of inward investment from China to the Midlands, BHX could also lay claim to a direct service (not just the charter operation), and I guess that Bristol and the Northeast could lay similar claim. The Chinese are everywhere in business and industry these days so I honestly think that the race for a scheduled service from Beijing or Shanghai has still not yet reached it's end.
