Bit of a thread drift, but I do think that whilst the UK has chosen to stay out of Schengen, they have at least coupled that with the extremely easy and user-friendly GAR system.
Of course, we can't demand our neighbours (particularly France) do the same in return - but it would be nice.
As a complete thread drift, when can we stop having to file flight plans for intra-Schengen international flights. Seems a massive waste of time and energy for all concerned...
