Probably because it's got 4 RJ's that its struggling to sell or lease, along with some 146's sitting idle around the world. i.e.Ansett, NJI etc..These aircraaft will all be priced competitively (cheap) and drive the RJ value down. So why would BAE want 7 problems instead of only 4?. .Oh, and as an aside, all the engineers from the hangar floor are being made redundant, so who would do the work?. .Shame on them.
