Tim,
If your Motherboard is the Straight MS-6533 (there are several versions of the MS-6533) go to page 3-27 of your motherboard manual. There you can find the settings:
CPU Clock Ratio
End users can overclock the processor by specifying the CPU ratio (clock multiplier) in this field.
Auto Detect DIMM/PCI Clk
This option allows you to enable/disable the feature of auto detecting the clock frequency of the installed DIMM/PCI bus. The settings are: Enabled, Disabled.
CPU Host/SDRAM/PCI Clock
This setting controls the clock speed of the CPU Host (FSB)/SDRAM memory bus/PCI bus on the motherboard.
Before you start overclocking you must be 100% Comfortable with the possibility that you could turn your mobo and CPU in to an expensive Key Chain! Make sure you have good cooling for your CPU too.
If you are still having problems overclocking your FSB try the:
MSI Forums for their headquaters in Taiwan
Two of the moderators I would contact there are
Assaf (recently retired as a moderator but still posts regularly) and
Wonkanoby.
If you still need help, you can contact me there too,
Deathstalker, I am the Moderator for nForce/SiS/AMD Socket A Motherboard Forum and Multimedia Forum. I can forward your problem directly to the MSI BIOS Team.
