Find a list of Avionics LAME organisations that ware reasonably close by and drop in with a resume.
There is a shortage of Avionics LAMEs and I'd suggest if someone came across a young guy with aspirations and motivation they'd give you a shot.
My son took a mate flying last year. The mate decided he loved GA and got an introduction to a large LAME maintenance organisation, which lead to short-term trial and soon after he started an apprenticeship there and is loving it.
People appreciate a good attitude and you'd be surprised how that will get you.
