Is the grounding of G-VIIO causing scheduling problems or is there slack in the fleet? Are there any plans to station another 777 at Gatwick?
Of course it will be causing problems. However there is usually scheduled to be a standby 777 at either LHR/LGW depending on the time or day... This will now obviously be a much rarer occurrence. So any delays will most likely last longer than if the standby a/c was available to be subbed into the schedule or the chance of cancellation (eg. tech) could become more likely.

I see that there were a large number of cancellations to JFK over the summer - generally one r/t per day. Were these commercial cancellations due to lower loads than forecast? Presumably its demand in the premium cabins that matters on this route and this drops in the summer.
There is always at least a daily planned service reduction to the JFK schedule over parts of the summer months, in particular during the school holidays. Why it was continually displayed as a cancelled service on websites such as Heathrow airport etc. is unknown.

Linked to this, I see that G-CIVF has been reconfigured as "High J" 14/86/30/145. Are there plans for any other aircraft to follow? Presumably it will mostly work the JFK route.
There are to be 18 in total to be reconfigured to the Super Hi-J configuration. These will all be ex Hi-J configured aircraft. They will initially operate on routes to JFK followed by BOS, LOS, KWI, DBX among a few as more become refreshed. The few remaining ex Hi-J aircraft that will not receive the refresh will be reconfigured to the Mid-J configuration.
