Whilst perfect round loops in vintage jets are mythical, the simple message in this rule-of-thumb is to respect the effects of density altitude on your routine and to avoid getting into a situation where you are pulling in the downline and the unexpected increase in manoeuvre size leaves insufficient altitude for the pullout.
